Privacy Policy
Last updated: 6 August 2026
This policy explains how SpeedCams UK (https://speedcams.uk) handles information when you use the website. Privacy questions and rights requests can be sent to info@speedcams.uk.
Information processed
- Hosting and security logs: Vercel may process IP address, browser, requested URL, timestamps and diagnostic data to deliver and protect the service.
- Analytics: Vercel Web Analytics provides aggregated usage measurements designed without cookies or cross-site user profiles.
- Advertising: Google AdSense may process device, network, page-view and advertising data and may use cookies or similar technologies where permitted and according to applicable consent choices.
- Email: if you contact us, we process your address, message and attachments to investigate and reply.
The site has no user accounts, checkout or public contact form and does not intentionally collect payment information.
Purposes and legal bases
We process limited information to deliver and secure the site, measure performance, investigate corrections, respond to messages and support the service through advertising. Depending on the context, the legal basis is legitimate interests, compliance with legal obligations or consent where required for advertising technologies.
Service providers and transfers
Vercel provides hosting and analytics, Google provides advertising, and CARTO/OpenStreetMap infrastructure supplies map tiles or source links. These providers may process data internationally under their own safeguards and privacy terms. We do not sell a user-registration database because the site does not maintain one.
Retention
Hosting, analytics and advertising providers retain data under their published policies and configured account settings. Email correspondence is kept only as long as reasonably needed to answer the request, maintain a correction record or meet legal obligations.
Your choices and rights
You can block or delete cookies in your browser, use Google's advertising controls and decline optional consent where a consent message is presented. Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection and may complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
Children
The service is not directed to children and does not knowingly request personal information from them.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy when the service or providers change. Email info@speedcams.uk with questions or rights requests.
